Friends of Flance Happy Hour
Save the date and join us Wednesday, April 9th, from 5:30 to 7:30 at My Youth 180. We'll gather for FREE food, drinks, games and FUN -- and the opportunity to learn more about Flance and our mission.
What is Friends of Flance? It's a free affinity group for STL professionals, volunteers, creatives, and others passionate about making a difference for our city's youngest learners. We're seeking ambassadors for Flance who want to network and have a great time while also helping share the Flance story throughout the community.

4th Annual Flance Advocacy Luncheon
Please join us for a delicious FREE meal as we get informed and inspired by guest speaker Casey Hanson, Deputy Director at Kids Win Missouri. Casey will speak on the theme “Where the Wild Things Are:” How advocates can remain resilient amid unpredictable changes. This is a great opportunity for ECE advocates, career professionals, volunteers, and all those passionate about early childhood education to come together, learn, network, and have fun. Family Friday: Feel the Love
Join us for this edition of our monthly Family Friday series: an effort to bring families together for networking, peer support, and fun! This week’s activities will include slime making and sensory bins.
Infant Massage Training
This FREE infant massage training session is open to the community as well as Flance families. Just bring your infant and a blanket! The class is designed to teach parents and caregivers gentle techniques that promote bonding, support relaxation and aid in relieving common discomforts like gas and colic. Self-Care Literacy Night
Join us for this afternoon of focus on helping parents better care for themselves and, in turn, better connect with their children. This event will feature elements of yoga, relaxation techniques, aroma therapy and more — plus FREE literacy supports (books and visual aids) to enhance your understanding and practice of self-care. Location: Flance lobby and community room

Drop n' Shop
Flance families and community members donate toys and clothing. Families “shop” for the season. Less stress and more joy for kids and families this holidays? Yes! Flance’s 5th Annual Drop & Shop is back this year, presented by Parkway South Middle School’s 7th Grade Cadette Troop #583. Thank you, girls!

Literacy Night at Flance
Join us Nov. 13th from 4:30PM - 5:30PM as we explore the importance of literacy development in the early years. Our friends from St. Louis Public Library and United for Children will join Flance educators for this special hour featuring a FREE book fair and opportunity to sign up for a library card and borrow books on the spot.

Flance Spirit Week
All Flance children, staff and educators are welcome to join us in the fun of Spirit Week, featuring a different dress-up theme each day.

International F.A.M. Fest
Join us for Flance's annual International F.A.M. Fest (that's food, arts and music) as we celebrate the beautiful variety of cultures around the world and within our own community. Grab your passport without ever having to leave Flance! This FREE, family-friendly event is rain or shine and will feature music, entertainment, tastings and make-and-take art.

Third Annual Advocacy Luncheon
Join us for a meal and a talk with Dorian Traube, Neidorff Family and Centene Corporation Dean of Washington University’s Brown School of Social Work. Dean Traube will discuss ways in which higher education can work with ECE providers to improve service delivery. Week of the Young Child
Flance is participating in this nationally-recognized celebration sponsored by The National Association for the Education of Young Children.
